Personal Information Collection Statement

In compliance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (“the Ordinance”), we would like to inform you of the following: 
(1) The personal information collected or held by the Group (whether obtained verbally or in writing) may be used, stored, disclosed and transferred (within or outside Hong Kong) to any individuals / organizations associated with us or to any third party as the Group may consider necessary including any other company carrying on insurance or reinsurance related business, any intermediary, claims investigator, medical facilities, other service providers relevant to insurance business, professional advisor, government authority or industry association / federation of insurance companies that exists or is formed from time to time.

(2) Your personal information is collected or held by the Group for the purpose of: 
a. processing of applications / requests and provision of insurance or financial related product or service or any addition, alteration, variation, cancellation, renewal, or reinstatement thereof; 
b. enabling the provision of insurance coverage , claim processing, investigation or analysis of such claim; 
c. performing statistical or actuarial research, or data matching;
d. exercising any right of subrogation (if applicable); 
e. promoting financial products or services by the Group, its affiliated companies or business partners; 
f. communicating with you, the insured or any relevant organization / person as the Group considers appropriate; and 
g. meeting any disclosure requirements imposed by law or court orders or pursuant to guidelines issued by regulatory or other relevant authorities. 
(3) Your personal information will be kept confidential but the Group may transfer such information to the above-mentioned parties for the purposes referred to in point (2).

(4) You have the right to access and to request correction of any personal information concerning yourself held by the Group. Request for access to or correction of your personal information can be made in writing to the Group’s Corporate Data Protection Officer. According to the Ordinance, the Group has the right to charge a reasonable fee for the processing of any data access request.

(5) Should you prefer not to receive any promotional materials from the Group or its affiliated companies, you can inform the Group by writing.

收集個人資料聲明

遵照個人資料（私隱）條例《條例》，本集团特此通知閣下以下事項：
(1)由本集团收集並持有(不論以口頭或書面形式取得)的任何個人資料，均可供使用、儲存、透露或轉交予(香港境內或境外)任何與本集团有關人士/機構或本集团認為有需要的任何第三者，包括其他從事與保險或再保險業務有關的公司、中介人、理賠調查員、醫療機構、與保險業務有關的服務供應商、專業顧問、政府機關、或現存或不時設立的保險業組織或聯會。
(2)本集团收集閣下的個人資料目的：
a.處理有關保險或財務產品或服務的申請/要求，及提供有關保險或財務的產品或服務，或該等產品或服務的增加、更改、轉變、取消、更新或復效；
b.提供保險、賠償審理、調查或分析；
c.進行統計或精算研究、或資料配對之用；
d.行使代位權利(如適用)；
e.推廣本集团、與本集团有關聯公司和業務夥伴的財務產品及服務；
f.與閣下、受保人或本集团認為合適的有關機構/人士通訊；
g.符合法例或法庭頒令的資料披露規定；或根據監管或其他有關機構所發出的指引而作出披露。
(3)閣下的個人資料將會保密，但本集团可能會把該等資料提供給上述各方作第(2)段列出的用途。
(4)閣下有權查閱及要求更正本集团持有有關閣下的個人資料。查閱及更正閣下個人資料的要求應以書面向本集团的個人資料保障主任提出。遵照《條例》，本集团有權向查閱個人資料的人士收取合理的手續費用。
